As Clergy is an intermediary between Deity and humankind, the Correllian Tradition holds that all people are inherently Clergy because of the presence of Deity within them, and need no further intermediary for their personal needs. This is why any Correllian may have a Recognized Personal Shrine. However, it is one thing to be Clergy for oneself as a personal manifestation of the Divine, and another thing to be Clergy for others as a representative of the Tradition. The former requires only the presence of Deity within, and answers only to that presence. The latter requires training and recognition by the Tradition, and is answerable to its standards.Because of this the Correll Mother Temple and the Correllian Tradition have developed the requirements for Clergy discussed below. The Clergy requirements of the Correll Mother Temple not only constitute the prerequisites for Clerical standing in the Mother Temple itself, but also constitute the minimum standards required in the Correllian Tradition as a whole.
Further explanation of these requirements may be had from your local Correllian Temple, Teacher, or Mentor. The Clan of Kheper Temple requirements for clergy include additional assignments for First and Second Degree but are otherwise in line with the Traditions requirements.
Wicca as a spiritual path
In taking the Correllian lessons you must understand that you are not just learning some interesting things about magic and Pagan religion, you are undertaking a spiritual journey. If you apply the things you are taught and persevere in your studies, it will change you on the deepest levels of your being; you will learn about parts of yourself that you may never have known existed (your Higher Self, your Astral body, your Chakras and your aura, to name only a few), master psychic skills you've only read about or seen in movies (clairvoyance, divination, psychometry and many more) and, learn how to use magic to take control of your very Destiny. You will develop strengths you do not now know that you have and you will in time face your deepest fears; and vanquish them.
Wicca is a path of transformation and growth which will challenge you and lead you to a renewed and enriched existence. Of course you don't necessarily get all of this just from the lessons. You have to do the work, and you need to continue your studies beyond just the First Degree to master all this. But these lessons will build a strong base to grow from.

Correllian Degree Courses Lessons for the First Degree
Traditionally it takes a minimum of a year and a day to achieve a Wiccan degree. Sometimes it takes much longer. These lessons have been formulated with this dictum in mind. These lessons are meant to be done at the rate of one a month. Twelve lessons following a month apart require at least a year to complete. This allows the student plenty of time to digest the information, which is quite wide-ranging in nature.
Lessons covered in this course include Magick, Cosmology, Personal Power, The Altar, The Airts, The Circle of Art, Invocation, Garb; Symbols, Omens and Divination, Basic Energy Work, Herbs, Oils and Incense and Stones and Crystals. Each lesson is divided into several parts, namely: the lesson itself, exercises, God of the Month, Spell of the Month, the Glossary and an Exam.
The requirements for First Degree clergy are as below and are not negotiable:
• The Correllian Lessons for First Degree • Final Examination • The Five Mystic Secrets (Short course) • Correllian Philosophy (Short course) • Correllian Ministry (Short course) • Assignments pertaining to the First Degree syllabus

Lessons for the Second Degree
The Second Degree Lessons have been created with the intention of giving the Second Degree student as wide a range of knowledge as possible. This is necessary for the Second Degree Priest/ess to function effectively and credibly.
The First Degree constitutes the lowest degree of initiated Priesthood, but First Degree Priesthood are understood to be still in the process of learning their role as Clergy. Second Degree Priesthood, once initiated, are expected to know and be confident of their role, as it is the Second Degree which often handles much of the running of a Temple or Shrine. First Degree Priesthood are expected to still have many questions and the Second Degree Priesthood are expected to be able to answer all but the most difficult of them. Consequently it behooves the Priesthood of the Second Degree to be as well informed as possible.
As with the Lessons for First Degree, the Second Degree Lessons contain several sections, which are intended to complement each other. These sections include the lesson, exercises, Spell of the Month, a glossary and the Exam. The subject matter of the twelve lessons include Tarot, Physiognomy, Astrology, Magical Alphabets, Numerology, Deaths, Spirits and Spirit Guides, Sex Magic, Magical Calendars, Advanced Chakra and energy working, Ley Lines, The Ba Gua and Group Dynamix. In keeping with this, the Lessons are both longer and more in-depth than the First Degree Lessons. They are intended to give you a well-rounded magical education, building upon your foundation as a First Degree.
The requirements for Second Degree clergy are as below and are not negotiable:
• The Correllian Lessons for Second Degree • Final Examination • Assignments pertaining to the Second Degree syllabus • Ritual in Theory and Practice (Short course) • Second Degree Spells (Short course) • Correllian State Robes (Short course) • Final Project • Final Defense (Interview)

Lessons for the Third Degree
The Third Degree Lessons are considerably harder than previous Degrees. In addition to the written materials there are also a number of other requirements in the form of papers and practical projects which will need to be completed. In pursuing these Lessons you will not only gain in-depth knowledge of things that you may never have thought of before but through diligent application of that knowledge and the exercises which accompany each Lesson will hopefully gain mastery of skills which few possess. The Third Degree is not something to be entered into lightly. It may appear that the High Priesthood receives most of the glamour and prestige of Temple life, but this is a deceptive appearance: for it is upon the Third Degree that the responsibility and the larger share of the work falls. No matter how many people are in a Temple if the Third Degree falters difficulties are likely to ensue, for it is upon the Third Degree that the responsibility for setting direction and maintaining morale fall, in addition to all of their more obvious duties.
The requirements for Third Degree clergy are as below and are not negotiable:
• The Correllian Lessons for Third Degree • Final Examination • Third Degree Exercises • Project 1: Introspective Life Map and self-healing analysis • Project 2: Prepare & Teach one original class • Project 3: Plan & host one public event
The following documentation also need to be submitted:
• Two forms of Identification with photographs (Passport and ID or drivers license)
